CHAPTER 29 VISUAL LABS — boards 29a and 29b

These are original fictional teaching examples. Work locally.
Read the named boards first. Predict before running, and explain any
difference before changing a second thing.

HOW TO REPRODUCE
Open a terminal in this ch29 folder. Use the Python command established
in Chapter 15; the example command is:
python walkthrough.py
Expected output:
Search initial EUR 60.00; qualified EUR 100.00
Email initial EUR 15.00; qualified EUR 60.00
Guide initial EUR 60.00; qualified EUR 75.00
All denominators in this fixed exercise are positive. An expanded version
must handle zero counts before division.

CHANGE / PREDICT / CHECK
Change only Guide's qualified value from 4 to 2. Predict: its initial
cost stays EUR 60.00; its qualified cost becomes EUR 150.00. Run to check.
Explain why the initial metric hides this change in enquiry suitability.

BOARD 29a — PENCIL-AND-PAPER PRACTICE
Write an advert saying Consolidate office deliveries. Then write the
page heading, explanation of the review and invitation to request it.
Ask a reader to say what they expect to happen. If they expect guaranteed
savings, change the sentence causing that impression. A colour change
alone does not repair an unsupported promise. This exercise purchases
no advertisement, sends no message and predicts no actual performance.
